Bio Oil is basically a blend of different oils.These are emollients, which will certainly improve the condition of the damaged skin. The problem with the facial application of Bio Oil is the fragrant ingredients in the formula (they may cause irritations and since you would like to apply the product very near to the eyes, we would suggest you choose another option).
ScarAway will be a great option, as these are professional grade self-adhesive silicone sheets, they are absolutely safe (they are even recommended for nursing moms). Your wife will be able to apply the sheets during the night and/or when she is at home and no additional fix will be needed.
